Our History
After 70 years, Klepper, Hahn & Hyatt is still located in Central New York, allowing us easy access to all areas of the state. Our team is consistently around 20 strong with each member bringing something new to the table. Our name has changed, and our skills have grown, but our goals remain the same: to collaborate in the design and production of lasting solutions for the built and natural environment.
Howard F. Eckerlin opens a structural engineering consultancy firm in Syracuse, NY.
Lawrence E. Klepper joins Eckerlin as a partner. The firm is renamed Eckerlin & Klepper.
Francis A. Hahn becomes a partner. The firm is renamed Eckerlin, Klepper & Hahn.
Gordon R. Hyatt becomes a partner.
With Howard Eckerlin retired, the firm is officially registered as Klepper, Hahn & Hyatt.
Landscape architecture is added to the firm’s core disciplines when Gordon P. Hyatt is hired.
Richard L. Applebaum becomes a partner.
James A. D’Aloisio (front left) and Gordon P. Hyatt (right) become partners.
Building envelope systems becomes the firm’s third core discipline.
Kelly M. Covert and James A. Palumbo become partners.
